Dolch Sight Word Bingo Cards

Dolch Sight Words are a list of words that was originally developed by Edward William Dolch, PhD, in 1948, for his book, "Problems in Reading". Edward Dolch developed various lists of words by studying the frequency with which they occurred in popular children's books of the time. He then subcategorized these words, and identified a list of 220 service words that can not be sounded out, and which children need to recognize to achieve reading English fluency. Additionally, Dolch identified a further list of 95 common nouns.
